Sustainable thinking, practical experience

Every year in July and August Vienna becomes Europe's metropolis for sustainable building, energy saving and resource conservation for three weeks. Students from all over the world come to the Green.Building.Solutions. (G.B.S.), the international summer school for architecture, engineering, spatial planning, energy technology, facility management and young professionals from the construction industry.

One of the main sponsors of G.B.S. is the Sto Foundation, which invites to a practical workshop that is unique in the industry: For four days, students are able to learn how to work with a modern external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS) on a window-wall model. The participants are guided by four young painters and varnishers from Germany.
